All tourists can be provided with guides during the First European Games, the head of the department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Vugar Shikhmammadov, said.
He said that work with guides is carried out by travel companies. Guides take part in courses at the Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management, after which they get a special guide card, Shikhmammadov said.
The volunteers will also join professional guides, according to the Minister. “In this capacity, about 500 students were registered,” Trend cited him.
