Krasnodar director makes film about conflicts in Caucasus

Valery Timoshchenko, a documentary film director, plans to present his film 'Do not shoot the cameraman' in Krasnodar for the upcoming 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.


The film describes the conflicts in the South Caucasus in 1992 and 2008, in Grozny and Vedeno in 1996, in Donetsk and Luhansk in 2014. The film will premiere at Kubankino at 2.00pm on May 7.


Timoshchenko, a member of the Cinematographers Union of Russia, has received the Golden Knight Award for his film 'Georgiy' about Georgy Savenkov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War from Novorossiysk.
