Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Laurent Fabius noted the important contribution of the USSR to the Victory in World War II over Nazism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France stated.
"Today in Moscow, I took part in a celebration of Victory Day. Despite today’s falsehoods, we must be aware that our history is not forgotten. The importance of the contribution of the USSR to the Victory in World War II and the struggle against Nazism is testified to by the number of people who died defending their country. This is important to remember – the day celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory," RIA Novosti cites him.
