The Georgian authorities have expressed their condolences to the families whose children died in a fire at a hotel in the town of Kobuleti in Adjara.
"It's hard to find words to convey all the emotional pain that I feel because of the disaster which occurred in Kobuleti ... In connection with this tragedy today the whole of Georgia is mourning. In these difficult moments, I share the grief with the families whose members died in Kobuleti and express my sympathy to them," Georgia Online cites Giorgi Margvelashvili.
"I express my deep condolences in connection with the tragedy in Kobuleti in a fire that killed three teenagers. This disaster has shocked the whole of Georgia. I sympathize and share the grief with the families," the president stated.
45 people were saved, among them 31 teenagers. Risking their lives, policemen and rescue workers helped people to leave the burning building,’’ Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said.
