Azerbaijan Railways purchases double-decker coaches

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) is purchasing double-decker coaches.

 

"Tomorrow the company will sign a contract with Swiss company Stadler Railway on the supply of double-decker coaches for the Baku-Sumgait rail line," abc.az cited ADY Chairman Javid Gurbanov.“The contract provides for supply of five double-decker coaches for the renovated Baku-Sumgait rail lin,” Gurbanov said.ADY plans to request the Tariff (price) Council to increase the fare at the new coaches [today the fare is AZN 0.20].The Baku-Sumgait rail line is expected to be opened after reconstruction on June 5
