Mayor's office in Tbilisi evacuated due to bomb threat

The staff of the Tbilisi mayor's office was evacuated this evening after an anonymous phone call informing about a bomb in the building, News Georgia reports.


The head of the police patrol in Tbilisi and Mtskhet-Mtianeti, Georgiy Gegechkori, said that they did not find a bomb and the mayor“s office returned to regular work.


In addition to the bomb incident the city municipality suffered a hacker attack on its website, where all official acts and decisions were posted.
