US special forces carried out a ground operation in Syria yesterday, as a result of which 32 militants of ISIS (a terrorist group banned in Russia) were killed, including several senior leaders, according to the Observatory for Human Rights in Syria.
"During the operation 32 members of ISIS were killed, among them four executives, including the chief oilman of ISIS, Abu al-Sayyaf, the Deputy Defense Chief of ISIS, and the Head of Communications,’’ Interfax quotes its representatives.
The operation was carried out by a detachment of US special forces deployed in Iraq.
