Four people were detained as part of an investigation into the attack on 19-year-old singer Mutlu Kaya.
An unknown assailant shot the singer through the window of her home in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on May 18. She was initially rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. According to investigators, the attacker is one of the four detainees – her boyfriend, Trend reports.
As Kaya said in an interview, she has received threats for appearing on a singing contest broadcast on the Fox TV channel.
