Tbilisi to host International Student Film Festival

From June 2 to 6 the Amirani International Student Film Festival will be held in Tbilisi. The organizer of the forum is the Ministry of Culture of Georgia with the support of Tbilisi City Hall, the Georgian National Film Center and the University of Film and Theatre.

 

Initially, representatives of various schools from over 50 countries expressed desire participate this festival. "As a result, in the program there are 48 works from 21 countries – Australia, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, France, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Cuba, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, the United States and France," TASS quotes the message of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia 

 

Winners will be determined in the following categories: best feature, documentary, animation and experimental film. In addition, the jury set up a special Film Festival grand prize.
