According to the German newspapers Berliner Morgenpost and Der Westen, an investigation into the member of the organization Islamic State preparing an attack against the President of Germany Joachim Gauck is being conducted in Switzerland.
The alleged Islamist terrorist is a citizen of Iraq. Since the 21st March 2014 he has been in pre-trial detention in Switzerland.
According to Tass, the German prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe confirmed that they were aware of the case of the alleged Islamist terrorist. No details about the investigation have been provided.
"The security service of Switzerland is dealing with it now,’’ the prosecutor's office noted.
