An ISIS firing squad has executed 20 men at the ruins of an ancient Roman theater in Palmyra. The victims of the execution were accused of siding with the Syrian government, according to Rami Abdulrahman, the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, RIA Novosti reports.
At least 400 peaceful people have been executed since the capture of Palmyra. Many of them were women and children. The city itself is part of the World Heritage.
