Ramadan Pavilion to open on Moscow's Poklonnaya Hill on June 18

The Ramadan Pavilion will be open on the Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow on June 18 - July 17, TASS reports.


Feasts, dances, music and costumes of Dagestan, Ingushetia, Tatarstan, Chechnya and the Uyghur, Nogai and Ulyanovsk communities will be presented. A total of 15 Russian republics will present their national attributes at the pavilion. Guests from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the event.


Festivals will be organized for orphans. A round of the All-Russian Quran-reading contest will be held at the pavilion.


Muslims will mark Eid al-Fitr on July 17 this year.
