According to the press service of the Stavropol city administration, due to changeable weather conditions the official opening of the bathing season and associated events have been postponed, including a children's festival.
"According to the Stavropol Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Environment, on the afternoon of May 30 and May 31, 2015, heavy rain with thunderstorms, hail and squally wind speeds up to 20 m/s are expected in the region and in Stavropol. Therefore, it was decided to postpone the planned events till next week," UGA cites the agency.
Precise information about the new date of the holiday will be announced later.
