Yesterday night heavy rain flooded two villages in the Zolskiy district of Kabardino-Balkaria, having destroyed three bridges over local rivers.
"As a result of intense rainfall, which led to increasing water levels in mountain rivers, the settlements of Shordakovo and Kichmalka in the Zolskiy district were flooded. Private property was flooded as well. A bridge between the settlements of Octyabrskoye and Shordakovo was damaged, bridges in the village of Shordakovo and between the settlements of Svitlovodsk and Octyabrskoye were also damaged,‘’ the press service of the republican Ministry of Emergency Measures stated.
