At a special session of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the World Programme for Youth Activities, the deputy head of the Ministry of Sports of Azerbaijan, Intigam Babayev, reported on the work of the republic in the sphere of youth policy.
Babayev stressed that despite the fact of occupation of 20% of its territory, the Azerbaijan Republic has made significant progress in this direction. In particular, the Deputy Minister spoke about decisions adopted in October at the First Global Forum on youth policy in Baku.
As Interfax-Azerbaijan reports, Babayev held talks with the heads of delegations of Kuwait, Serbia, China and Sweden.
