The ‘Caucasian Eagle’, an 11-day exercise program of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, started today on the Turkish territory.
"The joint military exercises of May 31 - June 10 are aimed at promoting cooperation, coordination and friendly relations between the Armed Forces of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia," the Turkish General Staff reports.
Georgia and Azerbaijan sent to the exercises one unit of special forces each, while Turkey, in addition to special forces, sent two helicopters and one plane to ‘Caucasian Eagle’, RIA Novosti reported.
