The head of the sub-delegation of the Red Cross International Committee in Donetsk, Diane Fischer, stated that the humanitarian situation in Donbass remains difficult for people living in the frontline area.
"For those people who continue to live in the frontline area, the humanitarian situation continues to be severe. In spite of the decrease in the activity of fighting, the situation is difficult for people living in these areas," she said.
"We would like to have access to such places as Shirokino in order to help civilians who need humanitarian aid," RIA Novosti cites her.
