The Mother's Monument has been unveiled in the capital of Ingushetia. Ingush Leader Yunus-bek Yevkurov and a delegation of the Mothers of Russia Movement attended the unveiling, Yevkurov's press service reports.
A woman's role in Ingush society has been highly appreciated since time immemorial. A monument designed by sculptor Ali Magomedov is homage to Ingush women's hard work.
The monument is located on Mothers of Russia Alley, founded on November 29, 2014. Artist Indira Ilyasov won the tender for the best design organized by the Ingush Ministry of Culture.
