n the early days of preventive operations conducted by the Astana police on the streets of Kazakhstan's capital more than a hundred beggars have been detained, Kapital.kz reports.
"In the first five days of the event, local police, together with the migration police of the DIA of Astana, brought 150 offenders to administrative responsibility for stalking and harassment in public places. Fines amounting to about 1.5 million tenge were imposed on them. For soliciting in public places 9 foreign citizens were placed in a reception center, 6 minors brought to the center for adaptation of minors," Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.
The operation will be held from June 1 to July 1.
