Investigating authorities have opened a criminal case against the Minister of Social Protection and Labour of the Astrakhan region, Catherine Lukyanenko, for receiving bribes, according to regional management INR.
"The investigation established that Lukyanenko ordered one of her subordinates to gather from the heads of those institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Social Development and Labour of the Astrakhan region funds in the amount of 700 thousand rubles for overall protection in the form of bonuses and the failure to maintain disciplinary responsibility," RIA Novosti reports a statement by the agency.
