Retired colonel shot in Turkey

In Istanbul an attempt was made on the life of a retired colonel of the Turkish Armed Forces and his wife, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reports.

According to the information, two unidentified men on a motorcycle shot retired colonel Oguz Cetin and his wife, and then fled the scene of the crime.

The condition of the wounded man is critical. A criminal case has been opened.
