Russia may lose its right to host the World Cup, FIFA reports

The chairman of the Audit and Compliance Commission of FIFA, Domenico Scala, has stated today that Russia, like Qatar, might be deprived of the right to host the World Cup, if it is proven that FIFA officials had accepted bribes.

"If you see evidence that the decision to give Russia and Qatar the right to host the World Championships was accompanied by the purchase of votes, the decision can be cancelled,’’ RIA Novosti cites Scala.

This football official noted that there is no evidence.
