Hizb ut-Tahrir members arrested in St. Petersburg

The public relations office of the St. Petersburg FSB reported that one of the leaders of the St. Petersburg cell of of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al Islami (Islamic Liberation Front) has been detained. 

Hizb ut-Tahrir al Islami (Islamic Liberation Front) has been detained. Since the investigation started last summer, 8 suspects have been detained in the northern capital, including two possible leaders of local cells of the organization.Thus, Hizb ut-Tahrir al Islami in St. Petersburg has ceased to exist, the FSB added.
