Victim of bus explosion in Volgograd compensated over 120,000 rubles

Larisa Kolomiyets has won the trial with Insurance Group MSK and will be paid 100,000 rubles for injuries sustained in a bus explosion in 2013 and 20,900 rubles for overdue insurance payments, according to Spokeswoman of the Volgograd Regional Court, Darya Kosheleva, TASS reports.It has been the first suit filed by a victim of a terrorist attack against an insurance company to get compensation. The Krasnoarmeysky District Court of Volgograd ruled in her favour on March 12. The defendant tried to appeal the decision.
