Aytac Baran, head of the Ihya-Der branch in Diyarbakir, has been shot dead at a cafe in the city. A police officer and two regional journalists of Anadolu were murdered. The official died on the way to a hospital, TASS reports.
The local administration has confirmed only one death. Seven prosecutors have been mobilized for the case.
