The Russian house of fans at the First European Games will open 8 hours prior to the official opening ceremony of the Games on 12 June at 12:00 local time, the Baku-based Russian Information & Cultural Centre (RICC), on the basis of which the House was established, reports. The ceremony will be conducted by the Russian Olympic Committee’s president Alexander Zhukov.
"A unique interactive exposition is devoted not only to the team of Russia, but also to athletes of Azerbaijan. Here everyone can learn more about sports and athletes, hold real equipment used by professional athletes in their hands and take a lot of interesting pictures," abc.az cited the RICC's message.
Visitors will be able to touch the equipment of such legends of Russian sports as Fedor Emelianenko, Eugenia Kanayeva, Timofey Mozgov. In addition, using special 3D glasses fans will have the opportunity to see sport tracks through the eyes of athletes and experience unforgettable sensations.
The house of fans will be open on June 12-28. Entrance is free.
