A ceremony of laying a star in memory of the great Azerbaijani
musician Muslim Magomayev took place on the 25th of October in Moscow
on the Walk of Fame in the "Vegas" mall.
The founder of the fund for the cultural and musical heritage of
Muslim Magomayev, the President of "Crocus", Aras Agalarov, stressed
that he was honoured to attend the ceremony of laying a star for such
a great singer. He highly appreciated the significance of the First
International Vocal Competition named after Magomayev which took place
in Moscow and acknowledged it to be the best tribute to the
outstanding musician, AzerTag reports.
Last week, the widow of Magomayev, Tamara Sinyavskaya, had an
accident. As a result of the accident Sinyavskaya broke her rib, but
she refused to be hospitalized. On Monday, Tamara Sinyavskaya attended
the ceremony dedicated to her late husband.
The ceremony was attended by friends of the artist: singer Leo
Leshchenko, politician Sliska, Speaker Svetlana Morgunova, businessman
Aras Agalarov.
