Over 40% of Armenian town to be specially regulated building zone

The Swiss company "Tiger Dave Swiss", which is taking part in working out a general plan for the Armenian town of Jermuk, has suggested to the Armenian government that 694.18 hectares of the territory town could be designated an object of specially regulated urban construction,

The suggestion was accepted and will be confirmed at a cabinet meeting on November 4.
The area earmarked makes up about 40% of Jermuk’s territory. Poor building practices there of late have created serious threats to the preservation of the surrounding town and natural landscape, prompting the Swiss company’s proposal.
