Armenia to dismiss traffic police staff for poor knowledge of English, computers

Armenian Police Chief Alik Sarkisyan has ordered traffic police to
improve their knowledge of English and computers, News Armenia
reports, citing the Granapak newspaper.


The newspaper said that staff need at least satisfactory marks in
English and computer skills. Policemen that get poor marks will be
dismissed. The initiative is due to Motor Third-Party Liability.
Police will check vehicle insurance using laptops.
