The 7th Annual Media Conference of the South Caucasus is opening in Tbilisi on Thursday the 11th of November, under the aegis of the OSCE. The representative of the OSCE on media freedom, Dunija Mijatovic, will participate in the conference.
Over the course of two days the processes and challenges of journalism in the South Caucasus will be discussed at the conference. Most attention is being paid to the issues of access to information, development of new technologies in the region and compliance with world standards.
Representatives of state institutions, international and local media experts, as well as journalists and representatives of civil society from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia will participate in the conference.
