The authorities of Krasnodar Territory are planning to invest 19 billion rubles into the healthcare system, RIA Novosti cites the press-service of the regional administration.
Next year the federal budget will still be financing the modernization of the healthcare system of the region. However, the amount of financing is not yet known.
The modernization should affect all 2,000 medical facilities in the region.
The officials will also invest 7 billion rubles towards building a children's polyclinic in the town of Kropotkin, an infectious diseases hospital in Sochi and a hospital in Krasnaya Polyana.
