The head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Boris Ebzeyev, has signed an order prescribing the 16th of November to be a day off, as the Islamic celebration of Kurban-Bairam is celebrated that day, RIA Novosti reports.
Similar orders were earlier signed in Chechnya and Kabardino-Balkaria.
