The treatment of 16 Azerbaijani pilgrims injured in a road accident
in Turkey has ended, Trend reports, citing the Azerbaijani embassy in
Turkey. The embassy is organizing transport of the dead pilgrims to
their homeland.
The injured pilgrims are now out of danger, embassy official Elsever
Salmanov told Trend.
The bodies of the dead and the injured pilgrims from the car accident
will return to Azerbaijan on Thursday, Azerbaijani consul to Turkey
Shokhrat Mustafayev told Trend.
The condition of the two of the seven gravely injured Azerbaijani
pilgrims has normalized, the consul said in a telephone conversation
from Sivas, where the pilgrims were hospitalized.
