Reproduction of Sevan will need 3 years period of rehabilitation

3 yaers are needed for reproduction of the lake of Sevan - Aram
Arutyunyan, the nature protection minister of Armenia said on a
governmental press conference. 'The question of 3 years long
prohibition of fishing is being discussed. It will create
opportunities for the fish industries around the lake to provide a
natural reproduction of Sevan' - he added, reports PanARMENIAN.Net.

the head of the government reported that a research of the ecological
system of Sevan is planned, also a research of the endemic species of
fishes such as siga and gigarkunik in the national park of Sevan. The
population of young fishes will be replenished too. The ministry will
give 7-7.5 bln drams for this.
