The armed forces of the Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs killed a
total of 84 militants in the North Caucasian Federal District in 2010,
with 22 being detained, suspected of participating in illegal armed
formations, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Russian Minister of
Interior Affairs, Rashid Nurgaliyev.
The minister added that 190 firearms, 48 grenades, 216 units of
grenade launcher ammunition and thousands of rounds of ammunition were
found.
