78,000 people without electricity in Russia's Kuban

78,000 residents of the Krasnodar region are without electricity due
to the icing up of cables, Interfax reports, quoting the press service
of "Kubanenergo."

The spokesman of "Kubanenergo" noted that the restoration of the power
supplies will be facilitated soon.

 There are 124 operational maintenance crews with 540 people working
currently on repairs.

Previously, Gazeta.ru reported that on Thursday about 100,000 people
were without electricity in Kuban.
