Terrorist group arrested in Iran

A group of trained terrorists have been arrested in Iran, the
Prosecutor General of Tehran, Abbas Jafari Dovlatabadi, said, Trend
reports, citing the new agency Fars.


Dovlatabadi said that the group was planning terrorist attacks against
officials in Iran. Questioning of the terrorists revealed their links
with the attack on nuclear scientists.


Iranian Minister of Intelligence Heydar Moslekhi said on December 3
that the terrorists are responsible for explosions in Tehran and the
murder of a well-known nuclear scientist.


Two higher education teachers were attacked in Iran on November 29.
Their cars blew up in Tehran when they were heading to work, together
with their families. Medjid Shakhriyari died at the Shahid Bekhishti
University in the north of Tehran, his wife and a passenger was
gravely injured. Another teacher Firuddin Abbasi of Shahid Bekhishti
University were injured in an explosion at Artesh Alley. Both
scientists were nuclear specialists. Firudin Abbasi is in the list of
sanctions of resolution 1747 of the UN Security Council.

Officials are blaming USA, Israel, intelligence services of UK and NATO for
organizing the terrorist attack against the scientists.
