Forest fires break out in Iran again

Iran has been hit by forest fires again. Flames covered the northern, north-eastern and western regions of the country, Trend reports.

According to the source, the Merivan, Gulistan and Simnan provinces are affected by conflagrations. Firefighters haven't yet been able to get the situation under control.

Forest fires started on November 18 in Gulistan Province in north-eastern Iran.

Some 600 professionals and eight helicopters were involved in fire-extinguishing operations.
