Earthquake hits Iran - 2

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale has struck Iran's southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Trend cites Iranian news agency Press TV.

The quake occurred on Sunday at 1:54 a.m. local time (2224 GMT on Saturday). No fatalities or damages have been reported yet.

The epicenter of the tremor was in the town of Hosseinabad, 28.6 degrees north latitude and 59.1 degrees east longitude, at a depth of five kilometers, which is located on the border of Kerman and Sistan-Baluchestan provinces.
