Anti-nationalistic demonstration beginning in Moscow

An anti-nationalistic demonstration has just started on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow, Radio Svoboda reports.

The meeting was initiated by the outstanding author and political activist Victor Shenderovich, who was once the host of a famous TV show on the NTV Channel. The aim of this demonstration is to oppose the nationalistic movements started by football fans earlier in the month.

The initiative of Victor Shenderovich was supported by artists, politicians and human rights activists.
