Vestnik Kavkaza continues talking about the New Year mood with
political anaysts, experts of the Caucasus, public figures and
officials of national unities.
Vice-President of the Russian Armenians' Union, Lusik Gukasyan,
celebrated the 10th anniversary of the organization in 2010. She said
that Russia has the world's largest Armenian community. The
anniversary celebrations were held in 63 Russian regions and Armenia.
Gukasaryan expressed regret about the latest events in Moscow and
other Russian cities. They may play a negative role in the fate of the
whole of Russian society.
The vice-president of the Russian Armenians' Union predicts that the
coming year will be difficult, due to the processes that started this
year. She expressed hope that 2011 will be a year of real dialogue and
tolerance, not just declarations. Lusik Gukasyan said that the ties
between Russian and Armenia should be normal. There may be new
'WikiLeaks' in the coming year, which may effect the work and
structure of elites, she concluded.
