Azerbaijani Amnesty Commission presents list to president

The Azerbaijani Amnesty Commission submitted a list of persons requesting pardon from the Azerbaijani president, Trend reports.

The presidential commission held a meeting on Monday and reviewed the list of persons requesting pardon. The commission presented the list for the president's consideration, Ccmmission member Elmira Akhundova told Trend on Tuesday.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to pardon the detainees in connection with December 31, which is the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, and New Year.

Some 300 people were included in the list.
