The so-called ‘Emir of Khasavyurt', Ruslan Mkavov, was among militants killed in Dagestan today during a special operation, RIA Novosti reports, quoting a National Anti-Terrorist Committee representative.
The identities of three other militants are being confirmed. Three police officers were injured during the operation. The town of Khasavyurt is still under a ‘counter-terrorist operation’ regime.
