Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the Orthodox
Christians of the country on the occasion of Christmas.
According to APA, in his letter Aliyev said that peoples and ethnic
minorities have always lived in peace and agreement in Azerbaijan.
Monotheistic religions have been working together in conditions of
respect and trust for centuries. Aliyev said that they value tolerance
and progressive national traditions, social-political stability and
civil solidarity. The president wished that Christmas bring joy to all
families, abundance of food and success in life.
