On April 24th, Baku hosted the presentation of the first Azerbaijani history website - www.history.az. The site is aimed at providing information about Azerbaijan's history in electronic form, reports Trend.
"The website combines digital versions of historical books, documents and other sources, as well as a digital library, photo galleries of maps, coinage and carpets, and information about archaeological
excavations. Anyone can receive a wide range of information about every period of the country's history, and professors and students may study any necessary topics," said the representative of the organisation 'Ireli', Dzheihun Osmanli.
The website was created with the support of the Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry, Azerfon, HP and the Ireli Public Association.
