Iran tightens dress code

The Iranian government has tightened the university dress code,
1news.az reports referring to Gazete24.

Under the new regulations, female students are strictly forbidden from
wearing jeans, tight-fitting coats, and clothes of bright colors. They
are also forbidden from growing nails, applying tattoos and wearing
headgear without a shawl.


Male students are prohibited from dying their hair, tweezing their
eyebrows and wearing tight clothes and "too-short" sleeves.
