Kura and Araks flood neighborling villages

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has reported
threats to cities and regions in the republic after heavy rain and
floodwaters from the rivers Kura and Araks, Trend reports.

Some 800 rescue workers have been mobilized, as well equipment. Water
is currently being pumped from a number of locations, including
Shirvan on the Kura river, and the administrative center of the
Sabirabad region.
