Eight people were killed and 12 injured this morning when two buses collided on Azerbaijan's Baku-Gazakh highway, not far from the border with Georgia.
A child and several women were among the dead, Tovuz regional prosecutor Fahraddin Mammadov told Trend.
A criminal case has been opened. It is believed that at least one of the drivers fell asleep at the wheel.
