Four firemen arrived from Chechnya to the scene of a fire at an oil
complex in the Tarum district of Daghestan to provide help for
their colleagues. 83 firemen were participating in extinguishing fire.

A second attempt to put out the fire with foam did not produce the
expected result and flames are still 15m high.
An oil tank measuring 5000 cubic meters caught fire yesterday evening.
There are about 3000 cubic meters of oil inside at the moment.
There is no threat of an explosion or to nearby populations, said a
source at the regional center. According to preliminary data, the fire
started as a result of welding work.
