Two gunmen killed in Daghestan

Two policemen were wounded during fighting in Daghestan and two gunmen

killed, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in the
law-enforcement agency of the republic.

'At 4.00 pm on the road to the settlement of Mutsalaul, in the
Hasavyurt district of Daghestan, police tried to stop a vehicle for
document checks. The men in the car opened fire. As a result, three

policemen were wounded and the two men in the car were killed' - a

spokesman for the agency said.

Following his words, an investigative group is currently working at
the scene of the fighting. The identities of those killed and the
details of the crime are being looked into.
